Lists & Text

Topic 1: Unordered lists

An unordered list is created with the command
. For every item is this list, they will be placed between an opening and closing list or a
and /
which stands for list item. By default, of the browser the created list will always be indented.

Topic 2: Nested lists

Another feature when creating lists is that you can place a second list inside the li element. This allows the creator to create a sub-list or a nested list. The browser will show the nested list indented farther than the parent list. And if the nested list is unordered, the style of bullet points will be changed as well.

Topic 3: Contrast

When choosing colors for your site, it’s important to make sure there’s enough contrast between each color for text to be legible to the reader. If a light color is placed behind a text which also has a light color, it begins to be difficult to read and can blend in some cases. A lack contrast can be especially hard for those with visual impairments and can even affect visibility when in the sun.
